Our Indian director at this time is N. Christer, youngest son of Pastor Rakshana. He is unmarried and has been pastoring his own congregation since 2000.
Here is Christer’s testimony in his own words . . .
“I born in a pastor’s family but never read the bible in my childhood. But my father, mother and my teachers forced me to read the bible and to pray every day. But I used to be angry with them for their words and spent my time with my friends and enjoyed my childhood.
In 1999, when I was studying my 11th class, I was selected into the India Navy and gone through the training in armed forces medical services. I was amazed to be called as a soldier and I was proud of my job in the India Navy. I was paid 10,000 Rupees per a month and I was provided free food, accommodation and clothing and everything I needed. But after finishing my 18 months in my job, I felt sad in my job for it has no life in it.
Everything seemed to be artificial and without any life. One day when I was in a sound sleep, I heard someone talking to me and saying, “ leave this place and your job and go to your place. I am going to send you to work for me.” I was amazed and it was unbelievable to me to hear those words. Because I was proud of my job. Then I asked him “why I got this job if God not wants me to continue in this job?” He replied “ This job was given to you to give you knowledge about this world and worldly things, so that you will not be attracted to those things in future”. Oh! I really felt very sad to leave my job, but I have done as He told me to do. God started to peak in my prayers and gave strength to understand the Bible and gave me the knowledge to preach the word. Praise God!
Then I was sent to Chilakaluripet by the Holy Ghost and began to work for the Lord and God gave me the knowledge of administration to look after the Children homes. Our Lord has been using me in His service since the year 2000. Recently I started village evangelism and preaching the word of God in remote and unreached areas of Andhra Pradesh. I am thankful to our Lord for what He is doing here in India to save millions of souls for His kingdom.
